Lasers are an obstacle found in the Crystal Cave Stage. Originally, they would lock onto the player and obliterate their boat, destroying boats that can be as big as a Class 10 boat. They were only activated when the player took too long to get across the stage or were not seated, preventing the player from using the controllable boat glitch. When the lasers targeted the player, it would cause the player to float up a small distance, then be "held" in place by the lasers. Seconds later, the lasers would explode the target and instantly kill the player.
In an update, the lasers have been added back to teleport the player to an area with a Medium Treasure instead of killing them.
Trivia[]
- There is no way to avoid the lasers, and decoy ships do not fool it.
- When Chillz' Plushie was added, the player could grab a clone in that area and use it as a decoy.
- The colors of the lasers correspond to the crystal it emitted from, and are about 1 stud in diameter.
