The Crystal Cave Stage is a medium difficulty Stage in Build A Boat For Treasure. It replaces all rocks with black colored rocks with crystals jutting out of them. It has a roof, unlike most stages.
Secret Treasure[]
In order to obtain the Secret Treasure Chest (#7), the player has to shoot the crystals on the wall with Cannons. Lasers will then lock onto the player before subsequently teleporting them into the secret area where they must solve a puzzle to get the chest.
Tactics[]
- Lightweight and agile boats are better at passing through this stage without damaging themselves due to fast reaction time when turning and changing direction.
- The stalactites sticking out from the roof of the cave can pose a danger to flying vehicles, especially helicopter fly glitch users as their crafts are mostly built out of low-strength materials like Glue that can break and cause the craft to break up or player to fall out of the craft. See where you're going before you proceed.
Trivia[]
- This stage takes the longest time to load compared to the other Stages because it is so long with many crystals that need to be formed. Although unlikely, this can lead to some boats falling off the Water on new servers.
- Secret Treasure Chest (#7) replaced the old Secret Treasure Chest (#12), but still has the same rewards. If the player had already opened the old chest, they may obtain these rewards again.
- The music that plays in the area to get the Secret Treasure Chest is called Mystery Music.
- The stalactites hanging from the cave ceiling severely hampers boats using flying glitches which cannot change height quickly, as the stalactites in the way can cause instant death.
- Prior to being removed in an update mid-2018, if the player was out of a seat or in the stage for too long, the Lasers would lock onto the player and kill them. They were later re-added on August 31, 2019 as part of the Secret Treasure puzzle; however, they no longer deal damage.
