The Button is an ability block in Build A Boat For Treasure.
Obtaining[]
Buttons can be found in Rare to Legendary Chests. Alternatively, buttons can be purchased from the Shop for 75 Gold per button.
Appearance[]
The head of the button is made of a material similar to the Gold Block, while the base is made of a material identical to Plastic. When painted, the color of its head changes.
Functionality[]
On click, it triggers all ability blocks connected to it (via the Binding Tool). It will continue to output a signal as long as the mouse button is held down. For example, Pistons and Thrusters will remain activate for as long as the Button is held. Once released, pistons will retract to their original position and thrusters cease firing.
Uses[]
- This can be used to activate special player-invented features such as elevators, lifeboats and thruster bundles.
- Because it is one of the few round blocks in the game, it is often put on Hinge Blocks to make unpowered wheels.
